In a world of darkness we are the only light. A shining testament of God on earth. We have to find the right balance as warned by these two verses. We must be an example and a beacon of hope for a lost world. At the same time, however, we must ensure that our motives are pure and that the good we do is not to make ourselves look better, but to glorify God.In the end, remember, no matter how much good you do it is neither enough to impress God nor possible to do without Him.

Et plumbum mundus per lumen, and lead the world by light.
