I’m going to be starting a monthly post called Music of the Month. It will feature the most played songs on my iTunes. I’ll be resetting the play count every month, so we’ll see how my listening trends change. Please feel free to comment with your own trends or thoughts about mine.
This post will be for 2009 as a whole. I reset my playcount at the beginning of the year to see what would be my most popular songs.
This year was dominated by my favorite band, Angels and Airwaves. They took 7 of the top 10 spots, as well as 16 out of the top 25. Also in the top ten were Nickel Creek, Taylor Swift, and Blink-182. I’ll note that the Nickel Creek song, unlike the others, has only been in my iTunes since July, not all year.
