Back in Cola for work today. Got out of the office to go to the SCGOP luncheon. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was the speaker. He endorsed Nikki and gave a pretty good general speech. It was my first event with the new camera, still getting used to it. Some of my shots didn’t turn out that great, so I’m holding of on posting.
The best part of the day, however, is yet to come. I’m about to leave the office for the weekend. I’ll be heading to Charleston for Charity’s birthday tonight. Then we have Amber and Andy’s wedding on Sunday in Aiken. But before all that I get to go on a much needed WaHo run. Not just any run, mind you. A run with one of my favorites, Allison Paige-out-of-the-Book-of-Awesome Quattlebaum, better known as AlliQ, and Bryn I-spell-the-possessive-of-Marcus-Marcus’s Acuff. It’s been too long, and we’re definitely happy to have Alli back in town from NC for the weekend.
