A great mantra by which I try to live is the idea of no regrets. Don’t end a day wishing you had done something else. “I should have stopped and helped that person,” “I should have given that person some food,” “I should have befriended that person.” Other times is dreams of doing great things. Going on a mission trip. Mentoring a student. Sponsoring a child. Helping the sick and homeless.

The problem is, many times other things get in the way. Less important things. We get concerned with just having fun or making money. We lose sight of what’s really important in life. Impacting others’ lives for Christ.

I have dreams of things I want to do. I want to help expand ministries in the United States via technology and media. I want to learn new languages and travel the world so I can do the same thing internationally as well. I want to help the fight against hunger in the world not only with awareness, but also with new innovations in nutrition and delivery. I want to help fight against repressive governments around the world, especially those that restrict religious freedom.

My prayer is that I never lose sight of these things. I hope that I don’t get caught up in the American way of making money and buying things. I hope to end my life with these problems solved, or at least the satisfaction in knowing I did my best to try and help solve them. No regrets.

What are some of you dreams. What are the great things you want to do? Please share them here.

James 4:14
Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
